Small grip area can present a challenge while racking the handgun slide. The Extended Cover Plate is the great solution to this problem. It adds the set of custom serrations to your red dot optics ready firearm if you choose to not use a RDO. The Extended Cover Plate mounts in the place of the OEM cover plate and does not require any modifications of the slide. Extended cover plate for the Glock 17/19 fits both Gen 4 and Gen 5 with factory RDO ready slides.
